OSM facilitates connections between global mission hospitals and the clinicians who are willing to serve, support, and educate. By linking people and resources to mission, we aid mission hospitals in their own calling to love in Jesus’ name (John 13:34-35)

Eric Kramer, DNAP, CRNA, FNP-C has extensive long and short-term experience in missions medicine. He grew up in Peru and Mexico as a missionary kid. After graduating as a nurse anesthesiologist, he and his family moved to Mexico, where he worked for 5 years full time at a mission hospital. After moving back to the United States in 2019 he founded Open Source Medicine to address shortcomings in specialty medical care in missions settings around the world.
Jose Martin, TUM-B is the Vice President and co-founder of Open Source Medicine. He is based in Chihuahua, Mexico where he works as an urban rescue paramedic for the Mexican Red Cross specializing in vehicular extraction. He has extensive experience in mission environments. Working full time for a mission hospital in many capacities for six years allowed him to gain expertise in a variety of fields, from surgical first assist to department head for hospital maintenance, security, and ambulance transport.
Ben Kaufman is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Ben is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he lives with his wife and six children. Trained in traditional media first, he transitioned to digital art in 2018. He seeks to use his talent and training to help spread the gospel through sequential art and design.
